Juan M for Model Number KSRG25FKBL01

I have been having several problems with the KSRG25FKBL01 Kitchen Aid side by side refrigerators. The unit-compressor stop to work suddenly just into few hours from we does the first start of the refrigerator (refrigerators are new brand, never used, but storaged by 2 years). After a revision I noticed that the part 12555902 (AP4013414) doesn't work or is burned out. I was wondering if the time in the stored could affect this part... By the other hand... I have in our storages a few of KSRG25FKSS refrigerators, those have the same time stored and we have never had any problem with them. Also, I noticed these has a different overload relay part 67005560 (AP4079373), in fact, sometimes I take these part to install them into the KSRG25FKBL01 and it works just great... I need to replace this part in 16 KSRG25FKBL01 refrigerators (Overload, Relay) My question is: ¿Could I use the 67005560 (AP4079373) part, since I have seen better performance? or ¿Should I use the 12555902 (AP4013414) since this is the recommended part? Thank you in advance for your advice.

Answer

Juan, Normally being in storage would not affect the performance of an overload relay. It is possible that the relay could have gotten moisture on it and caused it to become weak. You would want to use the WP12555902 relay as opposed to the other since there may be differences in the ratings and designs of them.
