Pat for Model Number MDB7600AWW The latch previously broke on my dishwasher but it still worked and we would just pull open the door by the control panel (where the latch use to be). Now that piece of plastic that we pulled to open has cracked but the dishwasher still works great. Do I need to replace the whole control panel?
Answer Pat, Yes, you will need to replace the complete control panel 6-917713 and the complete door latch assembly part number is WPW10130695. It's not a very difficult repair to make, and can be done by any DIY'r with basic hand tools ( you may need a#15 "torx" tip or driver to remove the inner door panel screws. Read More...
