Roy A. T Control assembly is burned badly. Is the compressor the only possible problem or could it have been damaged by lighting? How can I check the compressor with an ohmeter?
Answer Hello Roy, You can do a resistance check across the start to common, run to common and start to run pins on the compressor. The numbers you get from start to common and run to common should almost equal that of start to run. You can also go each pin to ground.
