Charley for Model Number GE GSD 6600 GOOWW The unit will not fill with water before it starts to wash. The water level never gets high enough to make the float valve stop the water from coming in.
Answer Hello Charley. The float switch doesn't normally shut the water off. The float switch is a flood prevention switch. The dishwasher fills on a time basis. The water level should almost touch the heating element. If it isn't filling to this level, I would suspect the water pressure or the water inlet valve WD15X10003. Sure hope this was useful in your repair. Have a great day! Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, March 19, 2012
