Terry S. for Model Number dvl223gb4ww Gas flame comes on when a load of clothes is started but doesn't stay on so the load doesn't get dry. Is the sensor, part WE4X751 to blame? At over $100 I don't want to replace it and not have it be the right part. Thanks.
Answer Hi. Terri. Yes the flame sensor does control the opening and closing of the gas valve. You might want to consider weak valve coils part # 5303931775. These are relatively cheap to replace and with some age, they get weak. Also consider the Ignitor part # is WE4X750. These are normal failer'es with age. Thank you. Read More...
