Cliff for Model Number DVL223GB4WW In schematic and troubleshooting book in switch panel of dryer, it says this switch should test50-400 ohms depending on room temperature. If it only tests .3 ohm while disconnected, I should be right that it is this part failing? Dryer will start, then no heat but blower and tub keep going and timer doesn't shut it off. Thanks, cliff
Answer Hello Cliff. The flame sensor WE4X751 should read closed for continuity. If it is open, it will cause the unit not to heat. You can test these with a multi-meter MA-DM1. They should read closed for continuity. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
