Hello! Yes, these hinges are responsibe for holding the door up in the closed position. There are different hinges depending on the side you need and the spring type. You should remove your old hinge to physically inspect it. There should be two types. A white spring, and a light blue one. If your unit has white springs, then you need WP9760572 for the left, and WP9760571 for the right. If you have a light blue spring, the left one is WP9760574 and the right one is WP9760573.
