Martin for Model Number KEBS177DBS8 I'm getting the F2 E1 code. Do I need to replace the key pad or the Microcomputer? It looks like the transformer for the light is not getting power also. I checked power coming in and the shutdown fuse is good. I think its the Microcomputer because of it is more money and that is my luck.
Answer Hello Martin. The first thing I would suggest is to sselect the cancel function and immediately power the unit off at the circuit breaker before it can start flashing the code. At this point, disconnect the control (clock) from the touchpad. Power the unit back up and wait at least 60 seconds. If the code doesn't reappear, replace the touchpad. If the code does reappear, replace the control. I sure hope this helped you out! F2-E1 - Touch Pad (Keypad) Cable Unplugged Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, March 2, 2012
