Shawn C. for Model Number 106.89482991 We have this ice maker at a lake house so turned off when nobody there after turning it on I found that the pump that runs the water over the chill plate is not working but the compressor dosent seem to be coming on as well. The resivor fills and overflows into the ice bin. I removed the pump it was not froze up but hot from trying to work.
Answer Hello Shawn. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the pump assembly WP2217220 is bad and will need to be replaced.
