Kathy for Model Number WED6200SWO Whirlpool Cabrio Dryer - when I hit Start, the time works but the cycle lights up under sensor but the dryer does not start or move off Senor. If you press a second time, you hear a clicking noise but that is it. No error codes appear.
Answer Kathy, Based on your post information and description, you'll want to check the thermal fuse WP3392519 / WP3392519 located on the back of the blower housing. If the dryer overheats the fuse "opens" and interrupts power to the motor. The click noise you hear is most likely the motor relay on the control board "closing" and sending power to the motor. With no error codes, and everything programming properly, the fuse would be the first thing to check. You'll need to move the dryer out and remove the rear cover panel to access and test the the part. You'll also want to check for a clogged vent pipe and vent hood while you're servicing the dryer.
