Vio The buttons on the control panel (membrane pn W10207928) failed one by one and now only a couple work. I plan to replace the part above to rectify but I,d like to check first if really the membrane is the problem.How could I check the membrane?I removed it already from the stove.Thanks
Answer Vio, Unfortunately, you didn't attach the model number of your range, and this manufacturer usually doesn't have a key pad matrix, needed to test the membrane. Based on your post description, your key pad/membrane switch is the most likely issue, and the place to start. It is subjected to heat from the oven and the cooktop, as well as the basic household cleaning compounds which does affect the key pad circuits. Read More...
