Doug for Model Number 110.26914691 On my Kenmore washer, it will spin sometimes and sometimes it wont. When it doesnt I will turn the timer knob all the way around to spin and then it will spin out. I changed the coupler and Dog-Agit and that didnt do the trick. I think its the timer but Im not sure. Please help
Answer Doug, If the motor runs in the spin cycle, and with a new coupler, it shouldn't be a timer issue. Based on your description, you need to check or replace the clutch assembly 285785 it may be slipping and or a sticky brake pad 285438. Here's a post from the APP Repair Forum that should help you out [http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/washer-repair/3265-replacing-direct-drive-washer-brake-shoes.html] Thanks and Good Luck Read More...
