Sherwood O Orange , CA August 22, 2015 Appliance: Thermador Built-In Ovens C302U Broil element had gone bad due to age and use This turned out to be a very complicated repair ONLY because the wires that attached to the very far end of the broil element came detached inside and behind the wall of the oven. It is one step this side of impossible to fish the wires out and reconnect them to the new element. This would be a very easy job PROVIDED that you do not allow the two wires that connect to the element to become detached inside the rear oven wall.
