How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP7017395 / 5304527931 Refrigerator User Interface Control Board

Shut breaker off, removed 4 screws, removed and replaced control pad. 

Ordered a new unit . Got good advice from seller. Very good service. thank you. 

Some of the LED number segments were burnt out, so I replaced the User Interface. Two screws held on the trim plate below the interface and two more screws attached the interface control panel to the refrigerator. There are four clip-on wire connecting to the back of the interface. All are different sizes and they only go on one way so you can't mess it up. Replace the trim plate and the four screws and it was done. 

Looked up the model number on the internet. Ordered and received the replacement User Interface the following day. Removed 2 screws under the mounting lip, then the 2 screws mounting panel. Unplugged 4 connectors carefully and removed the bad panel. Plugged in connectors onto the new panel, mounted the new panel with the 2 screws, followed with the lip. The replacement took about 5 minutes to remove and replace. Works perfectly. 

Ordered User Interface, removed (4) screws to get at the circuitboard, unplugged the cables by squeezing the connectors to unlock them, plugged replacement module, replaced and tightened the screws. Plugged the refrigerator in. All was good. 

Ordered a new display and installed same! 

Ordered a new interface control board after watching a few you tube videos 

Ordered a new control panel and performed an R&R. 

Replace the control board which was not operating correctly and not displaying options anymore. Also replaced the water valve in the back of the refrigerator. 

Followed the U-tube video after receiving the replacement parts from AppliancePartsPros (all parts were the correct ones and came as identified on their website).
