How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6011682 / WP8066057 Door Hinge

Received new hinges and installed them easily. 

Replaced both hinges per the video available on the web site. Went exactly as described, works like new now.

Replaced both latches and springs. I figured if one was broken that the other would soon follow The dryer is over 11 years old so I didnt want to go through replacing the other one in a couple of years 

My husband fixed it by using the manual provided.

I tried to rig the broken hinge myself with a small screw and nut.it lasted about 6 weeks and it broke again. i heard the ad on the radio for appliance parts pros, I went home and looked up my dryer model number and ordered the correct replacement part. Order came through the mail, watched the repair video, fixed the hinge on that weekend. Super easy and well put together video. Wife was super happy! No need to buy new dryer. Great help, thanks!
