How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6011872 / WP8183202 Washer Door Hinge

Replaced hinge. Very easy repair. Part came in two days. 

Replaced door hinge with new part.

Replaced the hinge. 

I replaced the Door Hinge. 

Ordered new hinge from Appliance Parts Pros.com, Part came within a couple of days. Watched the video then replaced the hinge, 

I had to replace the hinge on the door. With the guide arm broken away from the door side of the hinge, it made it more difficult to close & sometimes would not close completely causing leakage from the drum. I used the video provided by AppliancePartsPros.com to replace the hinge. 

Bit the bullet and made the purchase. Part arrived quickly and I am thankful. The hinge's mounting screw holes are not threaded. You may choose to use sheet metal screws to secure the hinge to the body of the washer. Use the correct length and size screws. I chose to tap threads into the new hinge and use the original screws. These are metric threads and a small torx head machine head screw. It's an easy fix people ????
