How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6023723 / WPW10674621 Stand Mixer Coated Dough Hook

I needed a wire whip and dough hook. I needed them fast. I was shocked when they arrived the day after I ordered them. Great service! 

I went to make bread and could not find my dough hook. I ordered and received not just the hook, but also ordered the "paddle " for mixing. Both work great. No longer is my mixer just taking up space on my countertop. 

I ordered the worm gear online with replacement Food Grade Grease and the mixer bowl, cap-hub, paddle, and dough hook. It took longer to disassemble the mixer than replacing the gear. Once all the old grease was cleaned out and new grease replaced; reassembly went very quick and smooth. Now I have a perfect running mixer like brand new. 

I bought the Dough Hook and the Flat Beater. I never had a stand mixer before, and it was wonderful. 

I ordered the replacement parts in less than 5 minutes, arrived sooner than expected, and got back to cookie making.
