I fixed it with this door hinge part. Originally I looked st the website and saw that the DIY was “easy”, so I was like “ok great!” I purchased the part and it came in THE NEXT DAY! Super fast. I wish it only took me a day to put the part on the dryer door...
I spent what felt like 3 grueling hours on the living room floor attempting to put this piece on. The idea was simple and honestly, the part was very simple to put on. It was the reassembly of the dryer door that was quite difficult. In fact, there were times I had to ask my lady for help and you know it’s bad when I resort to asking her for help on a project that requires tools. Either way, we FINALLY got the door together and attatched it to the dryer with ease. Works like a charm and is totally worth the blood, sweat and tears.
