Samsung doesn't provide much in the way of help for this type of repair. (for obvious reasons) wasn't sure at 1st how to access the fan motor. Removed the lower panel on the back 1st. No access, but had the opportunity to clean that area. Opened the freezer door & realized that the drawer and storage compartments would have to be removed to get access. Plus the ice maker would have to be moved to gain access. didn't have to disconnect the ice maker just removed the 2 2 screws that held it up. After removing the 2 screws that held the back of the freezer where the fan was attached it was somewhat challenging to remove the back plate because of the styro-foam insulation that surrounded the backplate. This needed a lot of pulling because it was wedged in tightly. Once it was loose had to disconnect the power connection from the back of the freezer. Then the back plate was removed. Access to the fan motor was easy 1 screw. Disconnected the power plug from the fan motor. Wiggled the fan blade assembly off inserted the new motor. Replaced the fan blade & put it all back together.
