Several weeks ago the dishwasher produced a hot plastic smell. After that it had a mind of its own, running only on certain cycles,etc. It finally stopped working. My wife is terminally ill and was in ICU plus I am raising three grandkids under 14 so I just decided to buy a new machine because I had enough problems. The few appliance sellers in our little town did not have one in stock so I called HD, where I had found one to order. They would not sell me the dishwasher over the phone! I complained to Mgt. and they relented. When they quoted me a price it was $60 too high.They explained it was a delivery fee. Since they had already said they refused to deliver to our rural location, I complained again. Their policy is to charge a delivery fee on cheaper appliances even if they won't deliver it! So, I took a chance and ordered this part. It turned out to be the right one. Only tool needed was a torx driver When my wife came home from the hospital, the dishes were done!
