This small plastic clip secures the dishwasher drain hose to the pump assembly or discharge fitting, keeping the hose in place and helping prevent leaks or disconnection during operation. What it does:

• Holds the drain hose firmly to the pump or outlet fitting to maintain a watertight connection
• Prevents the hose from slipping free during drain cycles
• Helps stop water leaks and washing chamber flooding caused by a loose hose

• Disconnect power and water supply before accessing the dishwasher lower access area
• Remove the access panel or kickplate to reach the drain hose and pump connection
• Use pliers or a flat tool to remove the old clip and snap the new clip over the hose/fitting until fully seated
• After installation, run a short drain cycle and inspect for leaks; re-secure if necessary
