Walter S Appleton , WI August 06, 2021 Appliance: Frigidaire Dishwasher FPHD2491KF0 Drain hose was leaking directly under the dishwasher. The drain hose was cracked where it was attached to the pump. At first, all I wanted was the drain hose. I could not find a drain hose by itself, I needed to order a full air brake and drain hose kit. I thought I could use the drain hose and keep the air brake for the future. When the kit arrived, it looked nothing like the hose/brake assembly on the dishwasher. With the help of appliance parts pros staff, I discovered the hose/brake assembly was completely and profoundly re-designed; I needed to remove both old parts and install the new air brake and drain hose supplied in the kit. I found a YouTube video on installing the new parts that showed me which tube was hooked to which port on the air brake. Following the video instructions, I installed the new parts in less than an hour and had the dishwasher running like new. The only change I made was to use stainless steel clamps on the hoses to control the pressure placed on rubber/plastic connections. Gary L Brunswick , GA February 05, 2020 Appliance: Frigidaire Dishwasher FPHD2491KF0 Wash motor was not operating Checked for 115vac at motor and at motor capacitor. Not present. Motor Cap measured correctly and motor windings tested fine. Checked for 115vac at washer pump relay on main board and it was not present. Replaced main control board and dishwasher operates normally. Note: All other functions in it's main control board functioned properly in the test cycle.
