My husband expected we needed a new dishwasher but I insisted on trying to fix it first. You need a Torx screwdriver so make sure you have a set. A little difficult to get cover back on and lined up by myself, but I managed and this was my first attempt at major appliance repair. I replaced the entire console and the dispenser. Still working after 3 loads so my husband may have to eventually admit that I fixed it.

I purchased a new replacement dispenser. Identical to the old one but the new one works. The time for the replacement was about 10 minutes even my wife could have done it.

Replace with new soap dispenser . removed six ( 6 ) on door and six ( 6 ) screws holding the dispenser in place.
