Therese C Columbiaville , MI January 25, 2015 Appliance: Model GLRS2332DQ2 Freezer side by side door rusted on the outside from the water dispenser was unsightly! Ordered a new door from AppliancePartsPros. It was on back order so it took almost a month to get here, but that wasn't a big problem as the Refrigerator/freezer worked fine, but the ugly rust was going to force me to buy a new unit. My son suggested just replacing the door. I didn't even know that was possible! Once the door came, I called AppliancePartsPros for directions. It sounded easy enough, but it was going to be a two person job. I ended up calling one more time for added directions. I got the handle switched out before my son came over. Once he was here I think it took 2 more hours because he had to drill out three screws that rusted (which was part of the source of the rust, along with a long ago water drip from the dispenser). So from start to finish I think it took 3 hours.... and that includes final clean up and pictures taken. I would not have been able to do it myself, but with my son's help we got it done. Well worth the time and effort. I priced new refrigerators and because of space I would have had to buy almost the exact same unit, so it would have looked the same and yet I SAVED at least $1000.00!!!! Thank you ApplicePartsPros!
