Chrstopher C St. Louis , MO December 29, 2014 Appliance: Model GE CAFE DUAL FUEL CONVESTION OVEN Ge repair personnel had condemmed our cafe' dual fuel range because the oven would not work and the display kept flashing a loc code I found a Wiring Diagram for the range online and figured out that the only part that the repairmen had not replaced was the Oven Lock. This lock has (4) microswitches on it that feed back into various parts of the brain telling the brain that it is OK to operate the oven. After reviewing the information on AppliancePartsPros.com I ordered the gas oven igniter. I reviewed the video and followed the instructions as best I could, since my model, GE CGS985SET5SS was configured differently than the video, but why should that stop me? It took about 30 minutes to get the igniter mounted and then another hour to finish putting everything back together (it didn't help that I dropped one of the screws, which fell through the oven bottom, requiring me to remove it again).
