Ed B San Bruno , CA November 30, 2016 Appliance: General Electric Refrigerator TFX27ELB The riser cam wore out and failed causing door misalignment I emptied door shelves and used plastic sheet to close off refrigerator. The repair was done with refrigerator running. I removed door and changed riser cam and shim. Then replaced door. It took maybe 45 minutes from start to finish. If I did the job again it would be completed in 30 minutes or less. The videos are informative. I searched for parts at "AppliancePartsPros.com" and found the correct parts and ordered them. The video on their site was very helpful and I replaced the cam and shim without having to remove the door.
