I went to AppliancePartsPros.com because they have excellent DYI videos on how to make repairs. I determined that the problem was in the push start switch. I ordered the switch online and it took 3 days to arrive. It took 5 minutes to replace the switch and the dryer works perfectly. Went on line and determined that it could be due to a bad door switch . I called appliance parts pro on a Sunday expecting to get a recording ,instead a helpful rep took the order and remarkably got the door switch on Tuesday . Under the part on their website was a fantastic video taking you step by step to remove door top of dryer and switch. In all it took me less than 15 minutes. While I changed the door switch I decided to change the door latch and install a new light bulb. The how to video was exceptionally helpful. It took me about 45 to 60 minutes, I worked slow to be thorough. A lot less expensive than hiring a fix it dude.
