Richard C Calverton , NY January 13, 2016 Appliance: Model JBPO8TF1WW Inner glass on ge spectra oven door cracked middle glass very stained from heat Ordered frame assembly from Appliance Pro. Got it in a few days. Watched videos and read instructions. There were minor differences in screw locations but but managed to remove door, placed on flat surface, disassemble inner door, replaced damaged frame assembly with new one. Expected to find separate glass panels but this older range (13 years) had the same frame assembly which I simply lifted out and discarded. Problem arose when trying to reinstall door on to the range. Door hinges had snapped back to locked position. Used short length of pvc pipe as leverage to move hinges to correct profile for installation, pushing latches inward to prevent hinges from locking up again. Doing this when first removing door will save a lot of frustration. Michael B Jacksonville , FL March 21, 2015 Appliance: Model GE OVEN JBP79A0B4AA Interior door glass was broken I found Appliancepartspros.com online while searching for oven door repairs and I found my oven model. I called them and spoke with Cheryl who was very helpful, and I ordered the Frame Window Pack Assembly # AP3188858 which arrived two days later by FedEx. I was thinking I would just receive the inside glass in a frame (it was difficult to figure out the door diagram on the website), but I received a frame pack with two pieces of glass, the interior glass and the interior door glass. I watched several YouTube videos on how to replace the interior door glass, but none were close to how to replace this door pack for a GE model JBP79A0B4AA oven. It was easy to figure out and actual glass replacement time probably took me 20-30 minutes before I could put the door back on the oven, not counting cleaning time (the YouTube video did help me learn how to remove and replace the door). The only tools needed were two sizes of star bits (which I happened to have), a Phillips head screw driver and a 1/4 socket or box wrench. I was very pleased with my results and my choice of Appliance Parts Pros. Geoffrey F Plantation , FL September 30, 2016 Appliance: General Electric Electric Range JB900BD1BB Inside pane of oven door cracked and needed replacement This is a simple job. Followed video instructions for removing door from stove, and the actual replacement of the window. Instructions are very methodical and detailed. However, you will need a "star" type screw driver (similar to a Phillips Head screw driver) and socket wrench tools. Changing the glass was easy. I had trouble removing the door, and unknowingly closed the hinges. When I tried to replace the door is when I discovered the mistake. I had to reopen the door, remove the hinges, then wrestle them back to the open position. Reinstalled them and the door was easy to put back in place. The trick to door removal is to pull the door up vertically, while it is in the partially opened position. I tried to pull the door off the hinges such that my effort was in the same direction as the open door. I wrestled with the door and finally removed it, without knowing that I had changed the hinge position. Without that mistake, I would have completed the job in 30 minutes. I would not hesitate to do the job again, even if I did not know of the possible mistakes I made. I saved service call dollars, merchant mark up dollars, and I just took a little analysis to figure it all out. The job looks professional. The door works professionally.
