Steve T Clinton , MA January 03, 2018 Main conduit was cracked causing leaking The main conduit needed to be replaced because the threaded end had cracked due to over-tightening of the ring nut. This was causing a leak at the back of the dishwasher when running. Removed the old conduit and installed the new one, along with a new O ring and new ring nut. The Guide casing was not needed. To remove the old conduit at the bottom (near the pump) a hose clamp needed to be removed. The hose clamps used on my dishwasher were not designed to be re-used so this needed to be replaced as well. A quick trip to the hardware store was necessary. The whole job took under an hour. Only tools needed were pliers to remove and replace the hose clamp and a philips head screwdriver to remove bottom back panel to access where the main conduit connected to its feeder hose.
