Norman B Santa Paula , CA June 12, 2014 2 of the 4 of the burners stopped working i could not find parts i found you Your video was vary helpful, letting me know what to expect. I fixed 2 burners with vary little problem. I have done electrical work before. Never used the shrink stuff before. Had a little problem with the shrink stuff because I used a propane unit that was a little hot but I got it done. Took about 2 hours because I took my time and had interruptions. I used a wire skinner, diagonal cutter, screw driver, propane heater. It works fine. I have been popping corn and making oat meal with no problems. I wished I had ordered some new pans that go under the 4 burners. Read More... 18 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 1-2 hours Tools: Screwdrivers
Lila L Owosso , MI January 12, 2019 Appliance: Model JBS-23 0E3AD My stove was very old like 30 some years, and the 8" burner sparked and in checking it out I found that the part that plugs into the receptacle was deteriorating and wasn't making a good connection I purchased a new 8" surface element and a new receptacle. It took me about 30 minutes to replace the receptacle because my stove top did not tip up as per the video. I had to take out 4 small screws on the front under side so I could lift the range top up to get to the wires to splice together. Everything else went fantastic and I can't say enough good things about it and the instruction video. Patburkard B Otisfield , ME February 02, 2020 Ge electric range one burner working intermittently On our electric range, the burner that we use the most (and also unplug to clean once in a while) was sometimes not coming on until I wiggled the burner to make the contacts connect. Found the replacement part (burner socket) on AppliancePartsPros.com and ordered it. Came in two days, even without the expedited delivery. The fix was pretty simple. The instructions packed with the new socket were very faint (looked like a copy of a copy of …) but there was also an online video. Between the two, I was able to replace the socket in about 15 minutes with no surprises. I like that!
