- Attaches to the cold-control (thermostat) shaft to change the temperature setting

- Typical failure symptoms: cracked or missing knob, stripped hub, or a knob that slips or won't turn the control

Install notes:
- Disconnect power before servicing
- Pull the old knob straight off the shaft; avoid prying at an angle to prevent shaft damage
- Align the shaft shape with the new knob and press firmly until fully seated
- The pointer aligns with the control graphics after installation
