This genuine Husqvarna rear skirt provides protection from grass clippings and debris that could fly from underneath the lawn mower during use. Periodic inspection of the rear mower skirt for cracks and damage is an important safety measure for lawn mowers. Do not attempt to remove or install the rear skirt when the lawn mower is running. For models with clip-fasteners: Use a flathead screwdriver to remove the old skirt from the lawn mower. Line the new skirt up and reinstall the clips. For models with screw fasteners: Remove the screws holding the skirt in place, set screws aside for reuse. After removing the old rear skirt, clean the area to remove any dirt or debris. Flush installation is important in preventing debris flyout. Line the holes on the new skirt with the holes on the lawn mower. Reinstall screws and tighten. Dispose of the old skirt. The OEM skirt is made of high-quality, molded, composite black plastic. The unit is sold individually. This rear skirt does not include fastening clips or screws.
