I looked online for available parts and Appliance Parts Pros had the item in stock. I ordered and it was here the next day. I read about the particular error code on blogs online. Most people agreed that it was the keypad membrane that was not working. I have never done any repairs on an appliance, but YouTube had great videos of someone changing out that particular part. Range membrane touch pad with control buttons located on the front panel. Replace if buttons are unresponsive, cracked, or worn. Includes layers and switch.
Unplugged the stove. I had to remove mounting screws from under front panel. Then Remove the side panels in order to remove the trim. Under the trim there are two gold screws that hold the front panel in place. Unplug the membrane switch and remove the 4 screws that hold it in place. mount the new membrane switch and use plug it in. Then replaced all screws. Plugged stove back in.
