Prior to ordering parts I had pulled the pump strainer basket and cleaned it out. There was both soft and hard scale build up. The tub-to-pump hose was also pretty crusty/slimey. The installation of the new condenser motor was as the video described; there were no surprises. I noted the difference in operation immediately, the fan was moving at a higher rate of speed in a smoother motion. The new motor had far less shaft end play and seems to move more air across the condenser coil than the original motor.
