I called in, talked to a very knowlegeable woman who looked up the part in various places and sites until she was sure it was ylthe right one. I placed the order and it was arrived in there days. I was very impressed with the service.

Lift out and replacement with new bins. The one complicated bin was the can bin as it was initially stuck and it appeared that it required more disassembly to remove the basket. Reading the help comments of another post in this community, I grabbed a mallet and gave the bottom of the bin a couple good taps to loosen up the bin and pop it out. Once extracted it was very easy to replace.

The door basket was a simple remove the old and install the new one. The ice button lever was a little more difficult. I used a paint scraper and removed the front panel. I then put the new lever into the panel. I then closed everything and tested. I found out that I did not install correctly. The lever needed a spring on the right side. So I had to do everything again. I found the spring that I needed and put it on the lever. I snapped the panel back into place and tested again. Perfect…… it worked like it should. I wish I had not forgot about the spring because taking apart again could have broke a good part. Anyway complete and happy.

Once I had the correct piece it was super to install. In the beginning I ordered wrong piece but when I called customer service and spoke with Gloria F she ensured that I got a refund for the wrong part and that I got the correct part and quickly. So grateful I spoke with a person who was very competent and helpful!
