Jack T Athens , GA December 21, 2014 Appliance: Model 795.75543600 Getting ff error evaporator fan would run just a short time after resetting pwr Removed the freezer drawers, ice maker, and panel that the fan motor is attached to. Changed out the fan motor reinstalled everything and plugged it in, and presto. I had ordered the control board just in case but didn't need it. The fan motor wasn't the easier part to replace but it was the cheaper of the two. Because the old motor would run for just a short time I assumed that it wasn't sending a signal back to the control board telling it that it was running. I was right!! Charles C Houston , TX June 04, 2020 Appliance: Model KENMORE MODEL OF LG Freezer worked but refrigerator was not cooling Replaced the evaporator fan after noting that the fan was not turning during compressor run. Had to first remove ice maker and then 2 screws in rear of freezer and disconnect wiring harness. Peeled and cut insulation and accessed removal screws. Little tricky to access screws holding the motor in place, but I used screwdriver between the fan blades and it worked. Chuck M Center Harbor , NH May 17, 2021 Appliance: LG Refrigerator LRFC25750ST Evaporator motor. Reviewed the site video for this part to confirm that the evaporator motor was the problem and to determine if I could fix it myself. Ordered the motor and received it two days later. I followed the video but had to figure out how to disassemble drawer parts that were different from the refrigerator in the video. However, the video was very helpful on how to access and remove the back freezer panel to replace the failed motor. The refrigerator is now quiet again and working as good as new.
