Charles B Uniontown , PA November 23, 2014 Microwave turntable would not spin Removed 8 screws from bottom panel on microwave. Pulled two prong plug off old motor. Read supplied voltage off motor decal and tested for it. Deemed motor to be bad and changed it. Works great. After tearing old motor apart it seems a liquid got in there from inside microwave. Removed two screws holding old motor and removed it. Then just reversed the process with the new motor. Simple. Theodore A Bristol , RI April 20, 2025 Appliance: LG Microwave LMV2031ST/00 Microwave turntable stopped turning Watched the video. Repaired as follows. Unplug the microwave. Remove the glass turntable and turntable coupler from inside. Remove the screws from the bottom panel. Mark the connectors of the motor and light in order to identify the orientation of the wires. Detach the motor and light from the connectors. Detach the bottom panel. Unscrew the old turntable motor. Attach the new turntable motor. Reposition the bottom panel. Reconnect the motor and light connectors. Attach the bottom panel. Insert the glass turntable and turntable coupler back into the microwave. Plug in the microwave. Read More...
