This lower bake element supplies the primary heat for Bake cycles, restoring consistent oven temperatures and even results. Replace a burned-out or damaged element to resolve no-heat on Bake, extended preheat times, and undercooked food.

- Disconnect power at the breaker before servicing
- Remove oven racks, take out the element's mounting screws, and gently pull the element forward
- Transfer the two wires one at a time; do not allow wires to slip behind the oven liner
- Reinstall the element and screws, restore power, and test Bake
If the oven still won't heat after replacement, check the thermal fuse, wiring connections, and control/relay.
