Spring-loaded belt tensioner that keeps the drive belt properly tightened. Replace if worn, seized, cracked, or causing squealing to restore smooth operation.
Un plugged dryer. It was an easy fix, popped the top up. Removed the two screw that held the front on and also unclipped the door switch. Released tension that was on belt and removed drum. Removed old front slides cleaned up area and replaced them. Popped the ring that held the rear drum wheels and placed the new ones with a dab of grease. Decided to order the kit with both rollers even thou the right one looked OK.Also ordered the pulley for the idler. Watched the video for the pulley installation,super helpful on a couple of the steps!! Everything went great. A 14 year old dryer still has life! Parts ordering and delivery was also great!!!
