Condenser fan motor died and blade was chewed up needed replacing. Peggy T. • South Paris , ME • August 13, 2019
I originally ordered the Fan motor from a appliance dealer. I waited for 5 days for it to arrive. In the meantime I scavenge a motor from a junk refrigerator from the dump. It worked while I waited for the motor from the appliance dealer. When I picked it up 5 days later it was the "wrong" part. I was fuming mad. I went online and found you guys and ordered the correct parts in 5 minutes. It arrived in 1 day and a half, "COOL" ! The repair went quick and smooth and now the refrigerator runs...

The Door switch is an OEM replacement part for Frigidaire refrigerators. This part turns the light on/off as the door opens and closes.
Causes of a faulty door switch include normal wear of electrical contacts from repetitive on/off cycles. Moisture exposure may potentially corrode internal connections.
Symptoms of a bad light/switch include:
- The interior light fails to turn on when the door is opened
- The light stays on when the door is closed, leading to potential overheating
- An impact on the refrigerator’s temperature regulation due to the switch not signaling the door's closure
This Frigidaire OEM replacement part is also compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator, and some Kenmore models.

Sy ev (which could be evaporator fan motor or main electric board Timo G. • Hoover , AL • November 26, 2016
Replaced both
The electrical board I found under the fridge was very easy to replace.
The fan motor took a minute to bed puns and the biggest challenge was taking off/on the back panel to get to it. (By the way it was located in the freezer section. take drawers out to get to it.

Broken handle on refrigerator door Margaret J. • North Olmsted , OH • January 29, 2016
I ordered a replacement handle and screws. The process was very easy with the help of one of your "pros" who found all the parts needed and took my order. I didn't realize I was getting both a refrigerator door handle and a freezer door handle in one set, but now we have the freezer handle if we need it. Removing the old handle and installing the replacement was very easy. It looks great, in fact the replacement is metal, whereas the original was plastic, so it looks better than it ever did!

No cooling from refrigerator lights worked but compressor did not run Jeff B. • Ovalo , TX • May 07, 2015
Checked compressor windings - ok. Start relay looked no rattle or burning. Start capacitor seamed ok but hard to check. No 120VC to start relay at any time. Ordered thermistor, and electronic control unit. Figuring it was a bad thermistor not telling the ECU it was warm and to turn on the compressor. Or the ECU was damaged and was not sending the 120v to the compressor. Changed the thermistor first (cheapest part and as Appliance parts pros has a return policy I wanted to start there). ...
