Kb May 09, 2011 for Model Number SHU9915UC/11 Are there other parts you would recommend I purchase at the same time while I have the unit out and upside down in my Kitchen to make sure I get it right the first time? Thank you again.
1 Answer Hello KB. You will need to run the machine and look for the leak to be sure you find where it is leaking. Hope this helps. Read More...
Kj May 09, 2011 for Model Number Bosch Dishwasher SHU9915UC/U11 I had a repairman try to diagnose the problem. He said there is a leak in the sump area which causes the drain pan to capture enough water that it triggers a float which then prevents the dishwasher from cycling. If this sounds plausible will you recommend the parts I need to make the repair? Such as a sump repair kit? Thank you.
1 Answer Hello KJ. Yes, that sounds correct. You will need to look and see which hose is leaking. Most of these leaks are a bad o-ring. There are several that it could be. The most common is the flex hose 00263099 that goes from the sump to the water inlet. Hope this helps. Read More...
Kj May 05, 2011 for Model Number SHU9915UC/U11 (FD8004) I woke up this morning to hear the dishwasher motor running (probably all night long since my wife started a load before going to bed). After emptying the clean & dry load, I re-loaded to start it again and the same running motor sound occurred. After 2-3 minutes of that I opened the door to stop it. Any ideas as to my problem? Thank you.
1 Answer Hello KJ. You will need to check and see if there is water in the bottom tray under the dishwasher. If so, there is a leak under there, that is causing the pump to kick on to prevent flooding of the house. You will need to dry the bottom out and run the dishwasher and look for leaks. Once you find where the dishwasher is leaking from, we will be glad to look the part up for you. Hope this helps. Read More...
