Phil May 10, 2012 for Model Number Not sure-Bosch front load washer I know this is the part. No water was getting to the pump in drain cycle. I opened the trap with a full washer of water but no draining. I pulled this part and it cruddy inside. Would this need to be replaced? Thanks.
1 Answer Hello Phil. Check the drain pump and make sure it is not clogged on the washer. If so, you can clean out the drain pump. Also, make sure the hose is not clogged. If both are clear, and the unit does not drain, you will need to test for power to the drain pump. If there is power there, and it does not drain, replace the drain pump. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
