Albert April 04, 2019 Looking for a replacement switch for Thermador range hood. House was built in 1955. Don't know if this the original range hood. Was able to get some info off the switch. This is what I got- ECC Corp, AMSC-51,5A 120v. It also has a small circle stamped on it with 2822-48 and then A-9 inside the stamped circle. Also has two wires coming out of it. One black and one white with red stripe. Appreciate any help you can give me.
1 Answer Hello Albert, If you could locate a model number for the range hood we might be able to locate the part number for you. It may not be available but at least you would be able to do a search for one that could still be in stock somewhere since a lot of times they will be listed online for sale. Please post a new question with the model and serial number so we can attempt to locate the part number for you. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. Read More...
Mac August 15, 2016 My switch looks very similar to your AP2831902 by Bosch however my switch has 120 VAC 5.0 amp with ACT Corp printed on the label with a separate small sticker with 40H on it. There is no part number but IFSC125SHS is also on the label. Can you let me know if your switch by Bosch will work on my unit? It is a built-in dual exhaust fan, the switch just turns freely and doesn't click or turn the exhaust fans on. Thanks! Mac
1 Answer Hello Mac. We will need your model number to help you with this. Please call 1-877-477-7278 or post your model number with a new question on the parts page. http://www.appliancepartspros.com/modelnumber_locator.aspx Read More...

George November 09, 2013 for Model Number thermador (bosch) ventilator vck1 Fan has worked intermittently. I can't get the cover off the roof-top housing for the 1000CFM fan/motor thanks to my roofers who used a lot of caulk. When I turn on the fan it will go full speed and will decrease speed initially after turning it on. Then it will just turn on full speed--but doesn't decrease speed as I turn the knob on the speed control. Then sometimes it doesn't start up. I leave it alone for a week and sometimes it starts and sometimes it doesn't. Fan motor? speed control? When I opened the unit to look the cover on the Molex receptacle was pretty dried out and loose. Is there a relay anywhere that might be involved? What does the Molex do?
1 Answer George, The molex receptacle is where the wires connect together. The cover would have no bearing on the unit operation. The most likely cause for the unit failure is the fan switch 00414188. Read More...
