Harry, There would not be installed instructions or an exploded view of where this part is located on the unit. If you look under the range hood where the lights are located. There will be screws that are holding a panel that holds the lights. Making sure that power is off to the unit you will remove this panel and under this panel is where the control board will be located.

David, Try testing power at the fan motor P8 and see if there is power. If there is proper power then this will be a faulty motor and if not then the board would be the issue.
