Nevo January 21, 2026 for Model Number FEF366ESE Oven has been working fine and then no heat. I checked the broiler function, and it does not heat. No easily identifiable damage to either element. This model has the ES300 Control which is a key-style control that is pressed. What could be the issue(s) causing the oven and broiler not to work? NOW I thought to try turning on the broiler and that does not work either. Probably should have checked that first. You may want to include that in general advice, I never thought of it. Marcy March 20, 2023 for Model Number FEF352DSB My oven was empty pre heating. Heard a loud buzz then a big pop. Flames enough to push the oven door open a bit then it slamed shut and fire burned itself out. Bake element is broken at the spot where it ignited. Replacing the element is an easy fix but should I be worried about why this happened? Should I be looking for additional problems? Stove top burners and clock display ar OK.
1 Answer Marcy, the wires would need to be inspected for any bare spots that could be grounding out and the oven would need to be thoroughly cleaned. If there are no bare spots in the wires and the oven cavity is thoroughly cleaned, there should likely be no other cause for concern.
