Si June 09, 2015 for Model Number Montgomery Ward UAN6305 The AP2106876 Timer for the Frigidaire features on this page "appears" to be identical or very close to the timer on a Montgomery Ward UAN 6305, made by Westinghouse. Unfortunately, there is no cross reference to this model. The Monkey Ward timer was made by Singer, with a model # of 0630421. Can this Frigidaire timer be used for this model?
1 Answer Hello SI. Sorry, we have no way of telling if the timer will be the same or not as they do not cross over. Read More...
Tom January 13, 2014 for Model Number fws445rfs2 My washer is not spinning on the final spin cycle sometimes. It will work fine then on the next wash it doesn't. When it goes to final spin and doesn't work you can hear the drain pump working but its not spinning. I replaced the lid switch it seemed to work a couple times then it wouldn't. Is it the timer or the motor?
1 Answer Tom, Most likely what is happening is you are getting a stuck contact in the timer that is not allowing it to make contact sporadically. This issue would most likely be the timer 131436800. Read More...
John August 26, 2013 for Model Number fws445rfs3 Frigidaire top load washing machine - serial number ap2106876 - fills with water but the wash cycle does not start. There is a whinning sound then shorts out surge protector. When in spin cycle it will spin and drain water. I have removed agitator. I was then advised to remove front panel - there is one belt which spins perfectly in spin cycle. I can only turn by hand the shaft from basin counter clock wise which turns the belt it will not turn clockwise should it? I have been told that I need a timer - then a motor - then a transmission.
1 Answer John, Based on the information it sounds like the issue is going to be a motor issue. The motor uses a switch that takes the motor winding from agitate to spin. This motor switch is most likely causing the issue and is part of the motor itself. The motor part number is 134159500. Read More...
John August 25, 2013 for Model Number fws445rfs3 washer was running perfectly - now fills with water but does not run - move to spin - water drains - tub spins - in initial wash setting agitator not running
1 Answer John, You're on target, the most likely issue is a faulty agitate contact inside the timer cam circuit #2 and cam circuit #4 both have to "close" in order for the motor to run in the agitate mode. Read More...

Jennifer May 12, 2013 for Model Number Fws446ghso Do I need to replace my timer if the washer kept running in the wash cycle?
1 Answer Hello Jennifer. If there is power to the timer motor, and it does not advance, you will need to replace the timer on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Richard P. July 28, 2011 for Model Number fws445rfs3 I replaced the water shut off control because it over flowed. Found out washer will not wash. It spins and pump works. Is it the main timer control that is bad? Thank you for your help
1 Answer Hi Richard. Try jumpering out (bypassing) the pressure switch terminals 2 -to -1. If your timer starts then replace the pressure switch. This part # is 134680100. The timer is part # 131436800. Thank you. Read More...
