For Ge Washer Control Panel Button Tree (Part Number: OEM17959194)

Carla, Pull the washer out and remove the back panel on the control panel and then remove the panel. Once removed you would need to remove the control board and this will give access to the button tree. With this issue, it would likely be the button on the control board that is faulty and not the button tree.

Paul, If water is leaking into the tub and the valve is getting power to it then it would be a faulty control board.

Kathleen for Model Number GTW460ASJ6WW

One day some of the cycles stopped working, such as towels/sheets and whites. I can set it up to run as usual, it starts to precise fill and sometime in filling stage or starting stage, the lights/beeps start changing a few times as if someone was turning the cycle selecting knob to make changes. Then it will go off, sometimes come back on and do the same things. However, other cycles like colors works just fine and has no problems. All the other analog knobs tested fine, as did a number of the diagnostic testing. My only conclusion is to replace the Ui Control Board, but didn't know if it could be anything else before I do that. Thoughts? I'm also getting a water inlet valve, every blue moon it will let a little water out and maybe twice in last year it has dripped continuously into drum. I'm going to have one on hand. Finally, there is a whine sound, only when loaded and full at the end of the short bursts of agitation. Quick/short agitations, like in the delicate cycle, just at the end a little whine/cry type sound. Thoughts on that one? That also has me stumped. Thanks for your help! Love the videos!

Hello Kathleen, you would need to locate where the noise is coming from, as it could be from one of several components on the control board, or at the drive motor but caused by the way the control board powers it.

Hello Patricia, if the unit is getting voltage, the lid lock is engaging and the when you press the button in but it won't start it; the board WH22X38441C might need to be replaced. Try putting the unit into service mode and verify if the unit has any service codes. Thanks!
