I would like to test the Thermistor without cutting the wires. Which pins should I check at the control board that are connected to thermistor wires?

Raven August 05, 2020 for Model Number FUF 14SVERWW It seems as though my GE upright freezer keeps running and doesn't cycle down. The digital panel on the door shows the temp set at 5, however the High Temp or Door Open red lights don't come on at all. Temp in the freezer is working. When I unplug the unit and plug back in after 2 min, the freezer cycles down until the next time I open the door, then it continues to run. Does the control panel on the front need to be replaced? 1 Answer Raven, If the refrigerator is cooling down to the proper operating temperature then there would be nothing that needs to be done. If the unit is sitting in a garage it may be that the garage is too hot. The ambient room temperature should be between 55 and 95 degrees and you will want to make sure that there is nothing surrounding it which would cause heat to be trapped in. Grandma Sweetie February 28, 2018 for Model Number FUF17SVCRWW Open door light on and beeping. Door is closed. Unplugged unit. Re plugged.Waited and light came back on and beeping. Other than that the freezer seems to be working properly. Keeping temp at 14 degrees F. I did remove the panel and put it back in - no change - still no display and the freezer is working well.
