Thomas for Model Number GDP665SYN3FS

Not a question, but a comment. First, purchased the liquid soap dispenser, fit perfectly! Installation video VERY helpful, but one update. On our model there are four (4) torx screws, two (2) on each side that must be removed to separate the outer and inner doors. I followed video, inner door would not budge. Noticed torx screws, removed, and all good ! Torx screws not mentioned in video. Possibly this will help future customers. (photo of screws available upon request)

Mark for Model Number GDF520PSD0SS

I recently ordered Part #: AP7213061 (WD12X32798) for my dishwasher because the original detergent module would not latch or stay closed. I replaced with the new part and made sure it latched closed and opened properly before installing. However, once installed, it will not latch closed, just like the old one. I disconnected power to the door and it latches properly so this tells me I have a different problem (maybe a constant electrical signal to open the detergent door?). I was wondering if you had any advice or troubleshooting ideas.

Mark, based on the information provided, the user interface WD21X31899 has failed and is continuously sending operating voltage to the dispenser.

Mike, the dispenser module can be tested for 13.5VDC when it should open during a cycle. If it receives voltage and does not open, the detergent module has failed and would need to be replaced.

Kevin, removing the door to separate the inner and outer panels would be necessary to replace the detergent module.
