September 21, 2012 for Model Number AP5646013 I just placed an order for this with your company - how is it installed and how is the one that is broken removed from the front door of the dryer. I am assuming you just pull out the clips on the old one and snap in the new one.The bottom clip on my current handle snapped.
1 Answer Hi Page. Remove the door from the hinges. Mark the door hinges so you know upon removal the way they get reinstalled. (They can be installed backwards incorrectly). Separate the inner door panel from the outer door. Release the tabs on the handle inside and pull the old handle out from the front. Reinstall in reverse. Thank You. Read More...
